Roguescape

Greetings Terrain enthusiast !  
Miniature gaming is one of my favorite past times. The only thing I like more the miniature gaming is making terrain for miniature games.  Terrain makes the battle come to life even more so then the miniatures themselves. Playing miniature games on a flat terrainless table is not as fun as playing on a table filled with trees, rocks, roads, waterbeds, and buildings! There is more strategy when playing games with lots of terrain as cover becomes more of a game mechanic making where you move and advance become more important. Terrain is absolutely needed to get the most out of your gaming!

This is why I have created Roguescape.com ....

Roguescape is created with the following goal in mind:

•  Create a Community driven site that will allow Terrain enthusiasts new and old to share their projects, tips, and tricks so we all get better as a community at the art of terrain building

I have built Roguescape.com with that one goal in mind and have put in place the tools to make that happen. My hope is that everyone will take advantage of the labor I have put into this and join up and have some fun with the site.  The tools I have put in place are the following:

Author Sign Up

Sign up to be an Author gives you the following privileges:

• You can sign up on the front page "Author Sign up" so that you have the ability to add tutorials and terrain related news directly to the website.
• Authors are able to upload files to the downloads section to share.
• Authors are able to download files from the downloads section to put together their own projects.
• Authors are able to open a "Gallery" (upon approval) to post pictures of their projects or of themselves in a star wars costume for public viewing.
• Authors are able to submit weblinks to various resources that are helpful for terrain building and also link to their own personal site if they would like.

Forums Sign Up

Sign up to the forums and you will get the following privileges:

• You will be able to start a "workshop" in the Roguescape forums. Workshop owners that update regularly will have more permissions added to them such as being able to add video and files to their posts and custom ranking and more! Only consistent workshop owners will get this privilege though.
• Even if you don't start a workshop you will be able to join in on the discussions on the board. Ask questions, post comments, share pictures, etc.

With all that said, Thank you for visiting Roguescape.com and I do hope we get some good stuff for everyone here to enjoy. I have more features coming to the site so stay tuned for those, in the mean time Enjoy!
